Not all inventions will capture your imagination and some will result in immense stimulation of the mind and body. Others simply perform a task that we all take for granted. So many of life’s wonders have come from simple origins that one may take solace that you do not need to be a genius to have a great idea.

Interesting poll. I see that you have both inventions and discoveries included in your list, some actually humorous and I can;t think of a better way to start a monday morning! I especially love your #11 … Soap! RIGHT ON! To add to your list, how about speakers? (or is that included in your ‘music’ category?
Some of my recent favorites, that I would not want to live without is: twitter, Skype, Adobe Creative Suite 4, the telephone, GPS and filters to clean water. Looking forward to seeing the results to your poll.
